Qualifications
Founded in 1997, Greenwood Environmental has been the trading name for experienced consultant ecologist Hilary Denny for nearly twenty years. With a background in nature reserve management, university research and environmental education, she has been guiding her many private and commercial clients through the vagaries of the planning and development processes by helping them to avoid falling foul of UK and EU wildlife law. As a full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (MCIEEM) Hilary is recognised by BREEAM as a 'Suitably Qualified Ecologist' (SQE). She specialises in small to medium sized projects and takes pride in providing a friendly, efficient, pragmatic and professional service at a competitive price. A view apparently shared by her many commercial customers who return time and again for advice on obtaining ecological credits through the various BREEAM schemes. Greenwood Environmental takes on projects across the Midlands, East Anglia and the South.
